#TPau25 Official Tour Blog 2013: The Setlist

When the #TPau25 Tour had been announced and Radio interviews and Newspaper promotion started to surface, it was confirmed that songs would be sung from all four T'Pau Albums.

What was also confirmed was that album tracks and songs that got away were to be included in the set. The set list wasn't made public until the tour had started and this got a lot of the fans wondering what was going to be included in the set list.

I had already asked the fans on the T'Pau25 Official FaceBook Page what songs they would love to hear live, not including singles, and one of the most popular song mentioned was 'Thank You For Goodbye-Rides Again' (as appeared on CD Single to 'I Will Be With You') This version was also on 'The Story Behind The Tracks' and this version has always been preferred by Carol & Ron and by the fans.

I let Carol and Ron know the favourite songs the fans would like to hear live, and we had to wait for the tour to see what was to appear on the set list!!

As you can see, the setlist is as diverse as you would expect any T'Pau setlist to be.
Starting off with the real rockers-'Monkey House', 'Sex Talk' and 'Thank You For Goodbye' to get the fans in the mood, then toning it down to the beautiful ballads including 'Only The Lonely', 'Love Song', 'I Will Be With You' and the stunning 'Road To Our Dream'.

The next part of the set was to include songs from the fourth album 'Red' including the stunning, and in my opinion, the rockiest of them all 'Let It All Fall'.

The encore was no surprise at all, considering it was a 25th celebration of 'Bridge Of Spies'.
The last two songs were the songs that catapulted T'Pau into the limelight 25 years ago, and these were obviously 'Heart & Soul' and 'China In Your Hand'.

The fans were in for a real treat looking at this diverse, yet carefully and strategically put together list of songs.

All we had to do now is wait for the tour to begin......!!
